The vinyl material of these gloves seems to be more puncture-resistant than the nitrile gloves that we normally use for intensive food preparation (for example, hand-mixing a meatloaf mixture which requires a good, snug fit of the food-safe gloves).
I received size medium, and while they are a bit more difficult to pull on my medium, slightly medium large hands, they have a snug fit and aren't too constricting to work with. Many of us have long-ish fingers in my household, and did notice one one or two fingers the glove finger tips did almost appear slightly too short, but nothing to prevent us from using these.
The wrist cuff is loose, which makes it easier to put the gloves on and pull the gloves off. These seem much more durable when stretching than our bulk blue nitrile gloves we typically get at a membership place, and I think these might be stronger. I feel that these would provide better protection longer than the blue ones I mentioned although these aren't as easily stretchable (like a balloon) as the blue nitrile ones.
I am still deciding if I prefer these over the blue nitrile gloves, as I'm still getting used to the difference in feel, but I'm leaning slightly on yes to prefering these for strength. While the upfront cost is daunting, for the quality and strength, these may be a better value if figuring in cost per glove. There is the matter of &#;feeling&#; the tightness of these over how our blue nitrile gloves feel. While they could possibly be the same medium, the feeling of these gloves does feel somewhat tighter (due to less &#;give&#;) once they are on.
