This was a good reminder to order more gloves. I just went in and checked, and my cost is $20.35 per 100 for textured, high quality nitrile gloves. HF wants 10.99 for a box of 50 gloves, so 21.98 per 100. You can take 20% off, so that's all you're saving. I can also buy high quality USA made standard nitrile gloves for $13.45 per box of 50. So, only a 35% savings with coupon from high quality US made to HF cheapies. My experience is that they last 3 to 4 times a long.

Like I've come to the conclusion time after time with HF, it's just not worth shopping there for the small savings and large drop in quality. It's only the best place if your criteria is lowest cost. For best value, it doesn't compete.

To answer the OP's question: I use 8 or 9mil for automotive work and other rough work. Where I want more dexterity, like for painting, I use 6 mil.
