These are the worst I will imagine that is out there on the market. Where to begin...
The foam padding outside of the knee is covered in a layer of pantyhose-thin material.
The knee coverings are a type of honeycomb with each section separated by space leaving it very easy to catch on anything sliding by - the material is not smooth, almost a soft rubber-like plastic, again easily catches on road, dirt, concrete...this stuff wouldn't slide on MARBLE FLOORS.
The velcro attachments are very uncomfortable, even over my pants - and very poorly made.
Overall, I would not trust these to keep my body parts safe at any velocity. So, perhaps plan on buying a dozen of these because you'll be going through them like paper towels if your body ever makes contact with the ground for any reason during an accident.
