StayPut® Corner Protectors, 8 Pack

+ The StayPut® Corner Protectors look hard &#; are they?

Soft is not always safe. In order to get a strong and secure installation, the adhesive must adhere to a solid material. Our solid inner core has a shock-absorbing over-mold (which is softer than it looks) for impact protection, providing optimal protection for your child.

+ Why do other corner protectors come off so easily?

Corner protectors are usually made of either foam or silicone, which does not stick well to adhesive. The result is that the adhesive sticks well to the table or furniture, while the adhesion to the foam or silicone corner protector itself is weak and the child can easily pull them off. To solve that problem, we used two different materials: the inner core is made of a high quality plastic that adhesive sticks to really well. The outer is a soft plastic that is over molded for protection. This ensures that our Corner Protectors really stick to the furniture, and children are not able to pull them off.

+ Why do you recommend putting one corner protector on the top corner and one on the lower corner?

Protecting from the top corner is obvious to everyone, but the reality is that children love to play under tables. They quickly forget that they are under the table and then suddenly try to stand up possibly causing an injury on a lower corner. So by also putting a Corner Protector on the underside you protect from injuries in both directions.

+ How do you remove them when you don&#;t need them anymore?

Use a rounded knife and carefully pry under the Corner Protector until the tape tears. Be careful not to damage the furniture with the knife. For remaining adhesive residue, use your finger to simply rub it away. If any residue remains, use a cleaner that will not damage the surface you are removing the residue from. There is no way to test all possible surfaces our SecureHold Adhesive will be applied to; please use caution when removing to avoid damaging the surface. SecureHold adhesive may cause damage to some surfaces.
