Due to the supply shortage and the limited ability to bring a new container from overseas, purchasing new shipping containers can be more expensive and take longer than usual.
Although a shipping container is a great option for temporary or long term storage, it is a very small space for a person (or people) to live in.
The average 8x20 container gives you 160 square feet of space, whereas an 8x40 container offers about 320 square feet of living space.
