You will get efficient and thoughtful service from Fivepower.

In the past few years, the cost of solar panels are decreasing drastically but the overall cost of the Off-Grid solar system is still significant. The cost of the traditionally used Lead-Acid battery and their limited lifespan compared to solar modules (25+ years) increases the total cost of the whole system. So, If you are planning to install new solar panels for your home or office, it is very important to select the right battery for your system. You need battery solutions that have greater capacity, a high power potential, a longer lifespan, are sustainable, safe, and fit into your needs.

Lithium-ion batteries have become a go-to option for energy storage in solar systems, but technology has advanced, a new winner in the race for energy storage solutions has emerged: lithium iron phosphate batteries (LiFePO4). There are many advantages of the LiFePo4 battery over traditional Lead-acid batteries which are described in detail in the next step.

In this Instructable, I will show you, how to make a LiFePO4 Battery Pack for applications like Off-Grid Solar System, Solar Generator, Electric Vehicle, Power wall, etc. The fundamental is very simple: Just to combined the number of LiFePo4 cells in series and parallel to make a bigger pack and finally to ensure safety by adding a BMS to it. The LiFePo4 cells come in a variety of sizes, but here I have used the type.

LiFePO4 Battery 101 - Your Guide to DIY Battery Project

There is no doubt that the LiFePO4 battery is a very safe lithium-ion battery. Even if it is punctured or knocked hard, it will not explode, which is an important reason why LiFePO4 batteries are so trusted.
Despite this, the installation and maintenance of LiFePO4 batteries still need to be carried out by professional technicians, and relevant safety regulations must be strictly followed during use. Non-professionals are not allowed to install and maintain the battery alone, let alone abuse is beyond the scope.

When operating on batteries, pay attention to:
1. It is strictly forbidden to touch the positive and negative poles of the battery box with both hands at the same time.
2. Wear protective equipment such as rubber gloves when operating the battery.
3. It is strictly forbidden to use external force to manually impact, puncture, disassemble the battery and damage the battery system.
4. It is strictly forbidden to use or place the battery in high temperatures (in the hot sun or in a very hot car), strong magnetic fields, and strong corrosive environments.
5. If the battery leaks or the electrolyte gets into your eyes, please do not rub it, rinse your eyes with clean water, and send it to a doctor immediately, otherwise your eyes will be hurt.
6. If the battery emits odor, heat, discoloration, deformation, or any abnormality during use, storage, or charging, immediately remove the battery from the device or charger and stop using it.
7. In case of fire, please use carbon dioxide or dry powder fire extinguisher to put out the fire.
